Pudukkadu police arrested accused trying to escape by requesting lift in bike

Pudukkadu: The Pudukkadu Police have arrested a man who was trying to get a bike lift on the Pudukkadu National Highway. David, 22, has been arrested at the Thekkatheravu Pondari home in Pudukkadu for the past two years. Thefts have been committed by the accused and he was arrested two days ago for stealing Rs.14,000/- from Nidhi’s native treasure bag.

He was asking for a lift on bikes. The bike riders with a backpack were his main target. Always be cautious when giving a lift to strangers as it could end the giver of the lift into trouble. Six complaints have been lodged at Pudukkadu Police station alone. The footage was obtained from a surveillance camera while a Special Team of Pudukkadu Police was investigating the crime. The accused had confessed to the police that he had stolen several bikers ranging from Rs. 5,000/- to Rs.50, 000/- According to police, the man was also a luxury bike rider in Aluva.
