Chennai: The Chennai Police said as they created awareness among the public concerning online financial fraud, avoid cash transactions by relying on attractive discounts on online advertising. Ensure the reality of the related website. Under any circumstances, credit/debit card number, CVV number, OTP number, Aadhaar number should not be shared with anyone. Only government-approved methods should be used when transacting money.

Please inform the bank immediately about any transactions made without your knowledge. If you are affected by fake online advertising report immediately to https://cybercrime.gov.in/.
