Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has extended the statewide lockdown to contain the spread of Covid-19 till  June 14. The lockdown has already disproportionately hurt marginalized communities due to loss of livelihood and lack of food, shelter, health, and other basic needs.

Many Volunteers & NGOs across the state have been delivering fresh home-cooked nutritious meals to the sick and their families recovering from Covid-19.

Police News Plus from Karnataka along with Kothanur Police has distributed food packets to the poor and needy in Bengaluru. Around 500 -600 food packets were distributed today.
