CHENNAI: Did the Police indulge in vandalism during the protests that erupted on January 23 during Jallikattu? The cyber cell of Central Crime Branch is set to investigate the issue, Chennai City Police has said. The veracity of the videos and the photos is to be verified by the cyber cell to see if the perpetrators were police personnel or not, the statement said. A total of 170 persons were taken into custody in connection with the violence on Monday, the statement added.
