Police in Delhi on high alert after bomb threat call

NEW DELHI: Jabalpur Police in Madhya Pradesh received a phone call alleging that bombs were being planted at several places and passed on information to Delhi Police following which Police are on high alert. Sources from Delhi say that the phone call was received by Superintendent of Police (SP) of Jabalpur. Police said that, it is suspected to be a hoax call but still we are investigating the call. A senior Police officer said, the SP received the call on his mobile through voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) about bombs being planted at many places in Delhi. Delhi Police control room around 6.30 PM was informed by the SP after which Police has started the operation to identify the caller, senior Police officer said.]]>
