BERHAMPUR: Lalgola Police recovered heroin weighing 1.4 kg estimated to be Rs 1.5 crore was seized from a village at Lalgola in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district. Mr. Mukesh, Superintendent of Police, said Lalgola Police seized heroin at Dewansarai village last night and four arrests have been made. Police seized heroin manufacturing equipment, the SP said adding that those arrested were residents of the village. Those involved in the trade would procure the heroin from across the border and process it in the village, he said. 400 gm heroin estimated at around Rs 50 lakh and heroin manufacturing material was seized from the same village four days, SP Mr. Mukesh said.]]>
