DELHI: Police in Delhi have initiated a probe and are exploring a possible foul play in 27 year-old scholar of Jawarharlal Nehru University Mr. J. Muthu Krishnan, in his alleged suicide in a South Delhi flat. Till now they have not found any evidence hinting towards the foul play angle, say Delhi Police and are planning to visit the place again. Mr. Ishwar Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South said, “We have also spoken to deceased hostel friend Amritanshu. He had said that he did not meet Rajini on Holi. Plan to visit the flat again with CFSL and senior officials to examine his mobile and chat details to know all were in touch with Rajini”. Late Muthukrishnan had talked about discrimination in his alleged last Facebook post. Muthukruishnan had written in his post on 10th March in his last Facebook post, “There is no equality in M.phil/PhD admission and in viva-voce, there is only denial of equality, denying Professor Sukhadeo Thorat recommendation, denying students’ protests places in Ad-block, denying education of the marginal”. No suicide note has been found but cops are analyzing his Facebook post, Police said. The authenticity of the post, verify IP address etc for investigation is also being done. Police said, “We received a call at 5:05pm on Monday that a person had locked himself in a room at a house in Munirka and when we reached to place we found Muthukrishnan hanging from the ceiling fan’’.  ]]>
