NEW DELHI: Following the death of Jawaharlal Nehru University research scholar J Muthukrishnan death here two days a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against unknown persons by New Delhi Police for alleged abetment of alleged suicide.

New Delhi Police says, provisions pertaining to the Prevention of Atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act would also be slapped as demanded by father of 28 year old J Muthukrishnan. Muthukrishnan did not leave any suicide note.
The Police said, the Facebook post in which he has written about discrimination he faced would also be investigated. Police added, but to establish the circumstances that led him to take the extreme step it is important to investigate about his activities in the three days between the death and the time he wrote those posts. Prima facie foul play has been ruled out.  ]]>
