The SP added that Police hoped to make four more arrests. India’s ambassador in Nigeria was summoned for questioning in Abuja as Delhi labelled the incident “deplorable”. The incident made headlines in Nigeria. The attack was result of the death of an Indian teenager from a suspected drug overdose, which locals living in Delhi blamed on the Nigerians. Delhi Police beefed up security in Greater Noida. Police are assisting African students to help them in shopping and escorting them to class. Nearly 60 people have been identified by Police from the visuals of the attack and they plan to charge with rioting and unlawful assembly, the Superintendent of Police added. The visuals showed a mob attacking a car. In another footage several men assaulted shoppers in a mall with metal chairs and garbage cans.
