The City Police Commissioner Mr. A.K. Viswanathan on Saturday visited the police quarters as part of efforts to ensure the welfare of police personnel and their families, which were surrounded by rainwater. Mr. Viswanathan has been visiting flooded  areas and has asked police officers to extend all possible help to authorities executing relief and rehabilitation measures in rain-affected areas. On Saturday, Mr. Viswanathan went to the police quarters which is located in St. Thomas Mount, Kilpauk and Kondithoppu and heard the grievances of family members of the police personnel. The Commissioner assured them of all help.
