DG Assam Rifles inaugurated MCA projects

ITANAGAR: The inauguration of the two Military Civic Action (MCA) projects was done by Lt Gen Sukhdeep Sangwan, Director General Assam Rifles (DGAR) when he was undertaking his visit to Vijaynagar and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh. He did this for the villagers to improve productivity of local farmers and to improve the technical and computer skills of the local youths.

Mr. Sukhdeep Sangwan distributed six mini tractors to local farmers who were doing farming using traditional methods. To improve the computer skills of the local youths the computer center was inaugurated at Vijaynagar.

During his interaction with the GB and the local people, he assured that he is committed in helping out various ethnic groups in the State besides ensuring peace and calmness in the region. The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the efforts taken by The Assam Rifles.
