Police remanded two persons in connection with arms smuggling

NEW DELHI: Police had arrested two sophisticated arm smugglers from Shanti van bus stop. Assisted by the arrested Special Cell detective of Delhi Police raided a ring of arm smugglers and recovered pistols and cartridges. Police said that there was an information about the movement of these arms smugglers who usually supplied sophisticated arms illegally to Delhi and its adjoining areas. Accordingly Special Cell detective police launched an operation tracking their location and raided the spot. When Adhawade and Seikh had come to deliver illegal firearms to criminlas in the national capital from Pune got arrested while checking. Earlier in 2017, Adhawade and Seikh were arrested for an attempt to murder and an attempt made to kill Mukesh in order to establish their dominance in the area respectively. After being bailed from the jail Adhawade came into contact with arm manufacturers of Madya Pradesh through Sandeep Pawar and since then started procuring illegal arms from them said the Officials. In addition, he said that initially he usually supplied illicit arms to criminals in Pune but better prices of arms offered by National Capital Region criminals compelled him to engaged in the illegal trade in Delhi. Police have registered a case against them for an attempt to murder and indulging in the activity of selling the illegal arms.]]>
