Retired Circle Inspector shot dead, police investigation underway

GIRIDIH:  A case of murder has been registered at the Pachamba police station on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Ali Baksh aged 60 who had retired recently as Circle Inspector. According to police, on Monday, Ali received gunshot at around 2:30 am inside his room while his son Hasnain and daughter Ruby Praveen were in a deep slumber. He was taken to a hospital with two bullets injury in the head where he succumbed to death. Preliminary investigation revealed that some unidentified motorcycle-borne mugger reached his house and called him over mobile. On getting a call he came near the window. It was at that moment he was open fired by the arms-borne men at Boddo village in Giridih said the officer in-charge Sharmanad Singh. Police interrogation with his daughter revealed that Ali had created a bond of illegal relationship with a woman identified as Sunita Devi who belonged to other community. She wanted to live with him. Sunita Devi and Papu Das, the daughter and son of the deceased respectively have been taken into police custody for the probe said the Officer. And further investigation is underway.            ]]>
