State Bank of India paid Rs. 30,00,000 / – to the family of a Female Guard who died in a vehicle accident

Madurai: Mrs. Jothi, a female guard who served in the Madurai Municipal Armed Forces was on her way home from Thevar Bridge on 09.05.2019. The vehicle in which she was traveling met with an accident and she died on the spot. Her payroll account or Police Salary Package Account was in the State Bank of India.

On 22.1.2020 the SBI Chief Officers presented the cheque of Rs.30, 00, 000/- to Mrs. Rengam the mother of Mrs. Jodi in the presence of Madurai Police Commissioner Mr. Davidson Devasirvadam, IPS.
