One arrested, Charas recovered by Pacca Danga Police

Jammu: As the Jammu District Police was continuing its drive against drugs, under Operation Sanjeevani they arrested a drug peddler on February 13, 2020, and recovered charas.

A police party of PP Panjtirthi headed by I/C PP SI Mr. Vinod Kumar while on Naka duty at Panjtirthi signaled one vehicle (Innova) bearing registration No. JK02AT-0615 on way from Srinagar towards Jammu to stop for checking. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Imran Shah, son of Badar Shah who is a resident of Phalni Somote Tehsil Budhal, Rajouri. On conducting the search, Charas weighing 640 gms. was recovered from his possession which he had wrapped around his legs.

In connection, case FIR No. 29/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Pacca Danga Police Station and investigation of the case is going on.
