BSF troops seized a considerable quantity of Ganja and other Contraband

Tripura: The Border Security Force (BSF) troops of Tripura Frontier in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic have been alert and are continuing to thwart the attempts of trans-border criminals by conducting operations on the Indo-Bangladesh border of Tripura. During the period there was an attempt to smuggle Ganja and other contrabands and as the criminals were undertaking the smuggling on 12.6.2020 the BSF troops seized 15Kg Ganja and other contrabands worth Rs.2,37, 520/-.

The troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) need to be appreciated for their timely action by preventing the smuggling of Drugs so that the smuggled drugs do not reach the common man and thereby save the lives of many people by avoiding the drugs to be consumed.
