One-Way Traffic on Kothwal Chavdi market to reduce spread of COVID-19

Chennai: Yesterday 13-7-2020 the Vanigar Sangam and goods Transportation Association had a meeting with the Chennai traffic police at Kothwal Chavdi, Chennai.

The meeting was attended by Traffic police Mr. Kannan, IAS Officer Mr. Nantha Kumar, Chennai City North Police Joint Commissioner Mr. Balakrishnan, IPS, Traffic Joint Commissioner Mr. Jai Gauvery Lakshmi.

The Kothwal Chavdi market is congested with traffic at all times so in that area coronavirus is spreading more rapidly and to avoid the spread of COVID-19, from today 13-7-2020 onwards the traffic on the road has been made one way to Kothawal Chavdi Road.

The vehicles which enter into Kothwal Chavdi can go by Prakasam Salai, Loan Square, Anna Pillai Salai, and P.V Iyer Street. The Chennai Traffic police have requested the public people and goods loading vehicles to follow the revised traffic pattern.
