Hyderabad: On 1st September 2020 Mr. Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad observes Ganesh idols immersion while boating in Hussain Sagar along with Mrs. Shikha Goel, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police Crime & Amp; SIT, Mr.Anil Kumar, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police Traffic, Mr. P. Vishwa Prasad, IPS, Jt.C.P. Central Zone, and Mr. LS. Chowhan, IPS, DCP Traffic. Mr. Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police Hyderabad drove the boat himself and observed the immersion.

Later he told that Immersion continues in a serene atmosphere in Hyderabad. The immersion of Ganesh Idols continues following the rules of COVID-19. Thanks to the people who tolerated the police. Immersion is likely to last until midnight today. Today Up to 1500 Ganesh Idols was immersed. The number of Ganesh Idols has decreased this year as compared to the previous year. Devotees are participating in the immersion program by wearing masks.
