R. K. Nagar Police arrested woman for illegally selling Liquor Bottles

Chennai: On the orders of Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, IGP, to detect and arrest those selling illegal drugs and liquor in Chennai, the police teams headed by the police inspectors are arresting the persons who are involved in illegal activities.
Following this, on the morning of 03.11.2020, the H-6 RK Nagar Police Station led by the Inspector of Police received confidential information that liquor bottles were sold illegally. Based on the confidential information the police team raided the spot.
During the raid, the police arrested a woman named Sokkammal P / W67, Korukkupettai, who was secretly storing and selling liquor near the railway flyover in Meenampal Nagar, and 167 bottles each 180 ml. of liquor and cash amounting to Rs.310 / – were seized from her possession.
