The training completion ceremony for 86 Deputy Superintendents of Police selected by the Tamilnadu Police Academy was held on 29/07/2021 at the Police Training Center at Unamancheri near Vandalur in Chengalpattu District.
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr.M.K. Stalin attended the graduation ceremony of the Deputy Superintendents of Police Training held at the Tamil Nadu Police Training Center and accepted the parade honour. He then presented the medals to the trained Deputy superintendents who excelled in indoor, outdoor and sniper training.
Speaking later, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said the newly-appointed deputy superintendents, should follow the example of Tamil Nadu DGP Sylendra Babu, IPS. He has emerged as a DGP today due to his hard work. He said the police should be firm in upholding the rule of law.
Then Mr.M. K. Stalin laid the foundation stone for the Integrated Cyber Training Building to be constructed at the Tamil Nadu Police Academy at an estimated cost of Rs 10.28 crore. Hon’ble Minister, Members of Parliament and Legislators, Chief Secretary Mr. Irayanbu, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary for Home Affairs, Director General of Police Mr. Sylendra Babu, Director of Tamil Nadu Police Academy Mr. Pradeep V. Philip and senior police officers were present.
