Howrah: A complaint was received by phone in the traffic control room (south) around 5 pm yesterday. The complainant, Shri Shubhjit Roy, said that while getting out of the taxi, he accidentally left his father’s emergency medical documents, some important documents including pension book, near Howrah station while getting out of the taxi. He was returning after admitting his father to the hospital. That person can say the whole number of the taxi, he remembered the whole number.
Mr. Tapas Kumar Manna, OC Inspector of Traffic Control Room (South) started searching on the basis of taxi number. He also quickly contacted the Howrah station traffic guard. The work of identifying that taxi started. After watching CCTV footage for a while, the taxi was finally found, along with numerous phones in search of the driver’s mobile number. Eventually, the driver was caught on the phone and asked to return the documents left by Shubhjit Babu. The emergency documents were returned to Shubhjit Babu, who expressed his gratitude to our traffic control room.
