11 People Arrested In Sabarimala Who Tried To Block Women Devotees Going To The Templ

Police arrested 11 people in Sabarimala today who tried to block women devotees going to the temple and removed the temporary shelter erected at Nilakkal by the protesters.

Around 1,000 policemen and two battalion women combat force were deployed in Kerala’s Pamba and Nilakkal today to control any conflicts in the area.

ADGP Anathakrishnan checked up the police arrangements in Sabarimala this morning.

Inspector General of Police Manoj Abraham is camping in Nilakkal to lead the security cover for devotees visiting the temple.

According to DGP Loknath Behera, police will provide all security for the devotees including women visiting temple.
