Momo Challenge, the Online killer game has already taken two lives in the state of West Bengal. On Monday, the Crime Investigation Department in the state issued a warning to the parents against the deadly game to ensure that their children do not participate in the potentially fatal challenge. They have asked people to contact police if they receive an invitation to play the deadly game of Momo Challenge. The CID has asked the addressees to keep track of students showing suspicious behaviour and notify the authorities in the case, in a public notice directed towards the parents and educational institutions. Two youths from Darjeeling, West Bengal have taken their lives after having played the game. In the past few days, several other people have claimed that they had received unsolicited requests to play the Momo Challenge via WhatsApp texts, according to reports. Several state police authorities in India have issued warnings to combat the lingering threat over the disturbing game.
