Delhi Chief Minister tells he consider Delhi Police as his family and is part of his family

New Delhi: The Delhi Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal said in a function held in Palam that The Delhi Police was his family on Saturday.

At a function conducted in Palam on Saturday the Chief Minister handed over cheques of Rs.1 crore to the families of Birendra Singh and Deepak Kumar who were the two Delhi Police constables killed while on duty.

He said referring to the delay in paying respect to the brave deceased personnel of the Delhi Police who lost their life around three years ago, that he is sad that both these brave personnel of the Delhi Police lost their life around three years ago, but we have been able to come to their family with the mark of respect after three years. The delay he was referring to was due to the scuffle between the AAP government and the Lieutenant-Governor.

He said that the Delhi Police is his family and is part of his family.
