Two accused have been arrested for allegedly killing a 27-year-old youth and throwing his body near the railway tracks in order to show it as an accident, by the Thane crime branch Unit 1 team who spoiled their plans. The daughter of the accused wanted to marry the boy who was not from the Pandit caste, so the accused planned to kill him. A missing complaint of Surendra Mishra was registered fifteen days ago by the Naupada police. Mishra a was native of UP but started staying in Thane since the past few months. His family members who were searching for him filed a missing complaint when he suddenly went missing. They told that they suspected the accused, Rajendra Tiwari a 50-year-old and his family. Surendra wanted to marry Tiwari's daughter but when they told their respective families about it, both the sides did not allow the couple to get marry. Tiwari who works as a technician in Dubai based company used to often visit Mulund because of his friends. The Police said that Tiwari had later asked his daughter and Surendra to run away from the village and get married but his daughter wanted consent for their marriage from both their families. Both used to threaten their families to commit suicide every time so Tiwari said he was frustrated. Tiwari who used to come to Mulund and had a room there, suggested Surendra to go to Mumbai for work. Surendra then came to Thane 15 days ago, where the accused asked his friend to call him. On the pretext of showing the house, Tiwari’s friend picked Surendra up from Thane and took him to a house towards Mulund side slum area, made him drunk and beat him badly to death. Then they took him in a car to Titwala and left his body on the track at night. They had taken the body in a train and threw it in the middle of the track, the Officer added. Crime branch officials arrested Tiwari on Monday night from the airport when he was returning from Dubai along with one of his friends. More suspects are yet still to be arrested said crime branch officials.
