The police said today that for allegedly sharing an obscene audio clip about former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on social media, two people in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh were booked and then one of them was arrested. Superintendent of Police, Sabharaj, said that a case was registered against them following a complaint by social worker Sunil Singh. The SP said that one of the accused, Azad Khan, a resident of Bhopatpur village, had on Saturday posted an indecent audio of nearly two-minutes about the former prime minister on WhatsApp and forwarded the same to his friends and various groups. The official said that the other booked, who is a pharmacist at a government hospital in Bahraich, Anwar-ul-Haq , encouraged people to spread the audio further. The SP said that police is raiding all possible places to trace Anwar-ul-Haq whereas Azad Khan was arrested yesterday.
