Mulugu: Maoist trooper Madavi Hidma surrendered before Mulugu SP Dr. Sangram Singh. Madavi Hidma, a native of Thondamarka village in the Christaram zone, is a member of the Maoist party. Police said weapons and ammunition were seized from the surrendering trooper.
Meanwhile, Madavi Hidma was thought by everyone to be the most wanted Maoist leader, Hidma (41). It is learned that he had earlier entered the Aturunagaram agency in Mulugu district from the Chhattisgarh border. However, it is suspected that Hidma, who was seriously ill, came to Telangana for treatment. However, there has been speculation that Hidma may have come to inquire into the recent death of top leader RK.
Sympathizers allege that Hidma and other Maoist leaders were poisoned at the time of RK’s death. Hidma is rumored to have left Chhattisgarh on suspicion of poisoning. Hidma, who joined the Maoist movement at an early age, was the backbone of the movement in the Bastar region. He was the Commander of the PLGA-1 Battalion and a member of the Chhattisgarh Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee. Hidma was a virtuoso in lightning strikes on security forces during Cumbing.
In April this year, CRPF troops in Bijapur were caught in a plot he hatched and 22 people were killed. Hidma played a key role in the 2010 ground attack that killed 76 CRPF jawans, the Jiramghat attack in 2013, and the killing of 27 CRPF personnel in 2017.
