Barvani: Superintendent of Police Barwani Mr. Deepak Shukla IPS directed the senior officers to check illegal arms-trading and arrest the smugglers. In line with these instructions, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. RD Prajapati and SDOP Mr. Rajpur Manohar Singh Baria and under the leadership of Station House Officer, Sendhwa Rural Mr. Vikas Kapis, the Sendhwa Rural Police has succeeded in arresting a smuggler who smuggled illegal arms.
On June 13, information was received from the informer that in the police station Sendhwa rural, a suspicious person is coming from Navalpura Phate on a motorcycle, who is in the process of buying and selling illegal weapons. On information, the police team laid siege from the place mentioned by the informer and caught Devsingh(22) son of Bhangi Kanoje resident of Varla with a motorcycle. On search of the person, five country-made pistols, six country-made pistols of twelve bores, twenty live rounds, one motorcycle and one mobile were recovered from him which was duly confiscated. The offense of Arms Act has been registered against the accused in the police station Sendhwa and has been taken up for investigation.
