Solan: Two youths were arrested by the Parwanoo police for possessing heroin from a local hotel on the Kasauli road and seized 18.44-gram heroin and Rs 40,500 in cash from their possession. The arrested accused were identified as Sonu Kumar of Kalka and Arjun of Kinnaur.
Parwanoo DSP Mr. Yogesh Rolta said the cash indicated that the accused Sonu Kumar of Kalka and Arjun of Kinnaur were involved in selling the contraband and the presence of syringes and foil paper indicated that they are consuming as well. The police registered a case against the accused.
