Margo: The Margo Police have registered a murder case under section 302(Murder) of the Indian Penal Code. An investigation has been initiated into the case and the police personal are putting all their efforts to apprehend the accused.
The Police said that the man was noticed sleeping outside a small temple located along the road leading to Victor Hospital, Malbhat, until midnight on Tuesday. The locals later found him dead on Wednesday morning, following which the police were informed.
South Goa SP Mr.Arvind Gawas told that it appears that the man was killed by somebody in an inebriated condition, by blows to his head, probably with laterite stone. A liquor bottle was also found near the body.
As part of the investigation process, the police personal are taking the CCTV footage from te CCTV cameras installed in nearby areas in an effort to trace the accused.
