Krishnagiri: Police had launched an investigation in accordance with the hints of selling a baby was made known to them and the little baby was rescued from the district of Bellary in Karnataka. It is a barbaric and inhuman treatment for a 14-month old child. The savage incident occurrence came to the front line on Tuesday when the officials of the district had received some clues about a sale of a baby at Maharajaknadai in the district of Karnataka. The minor was sold for Rs. 25,000. However, when the investigation team reached to the mentioned spot, the sellers were already on the run. Soon the investigation team found out the woman of a child was surfaced in the village on Wednesday and police picked her up abruptly. According to the investigation, police learned that the woman and her life partner were already married and lived together for the past two years since the time they left their respective families. Soon they begot a child. Fearing societal stigma, the woman informed one of her relatives who suggested her to sell off the child and return to her husband and children. For she already had two daughters and a son. The police said that the baby would be brought to Kuppam Police station from Bellary today and later to Krishnagiri and thereafter, the child would be handed over to the CWC said District Child Protection officer.]]>
