Rachakonda: On 1.4.2023, CCS LB Nagar Police organized a conference for change among criminal offenders titled “Step forward for change” at Kushal Gardens function hall, LB Nagar. About 400 convicts along with their family members attended the conference.
In this conference, Rachakonda Commissioner Mr. DS Chauhan IPS, Speakers Mr. Akella Raghavender (motivational speaker), along with him, DCP LB Nagar Mr. Saishri IPS, DCP Mr. P. Madhukar Swamy, Additional DCP Ms. Lakshmi, ACP Mr. Sridhar Reddy, ACP Mr. Purushottam Reddy, ACP Mr. Venkatesham and other officers were present.
Rachakonda Commissioner said that those who have committed crimes in the past should leave their crimes and lead a new life with the present society and lead a sober life. He said that even if the criminals commit crimes in haste, the family of innocent people will suffer a lot because of it. They said that they should forget the past and move forward with a changed mind and the role of their family is very important in that. It is said that those who are good citizens in the society without committing crimes will have a chance to spend happily with their family than those who spend time in prison. These old criminals who attended the conference expressed their happiness on this program organized by the police department for change in them.
