Siliguri: The Bhaktinagar Police Station and SOG SPC, acting on specific information, intercepted a Bolero vehicle at Prakashnagar in Siliguri on 15.05.2023 around 14:40 hours. As a result, two individuals, namely Hajikul Seikh from Aurangabad Suti Police Station, Muslrshidabad district, and Md Nur Alam from Adarsha Nagar Ward no.4 Siliguri Police Station, Darjeeling district, were apprehended.
During a search of the vehicle, the following items were found in the joint possession of the arrested individuals:
290 grams of Brown sugar
Ten packets of Nitrosum-10 tablets, with each packet containing 100 tablets
One iTel keypad mobile
One Android Vivo mobile
The seized articles, as well as the vehicle, have been confiscated, and the two individuals have been taken into custody. All necessary procedures were conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the NDPS Act. A specific case under the NDPS Act has been initiated at Bhaktinagar Police Station, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
