<![CDATA[Three masked men allegedly gang raped a 19 year-old schoolteacher in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly on Tuesday morning. The victim’s family lodged a complaint with CB Ganj police station following which a probe has been launched. Bareilly Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh said, “The crime occurred around 7 am, while the victim was going to a school where she teaches. We have formed a team to investigate the matter”, he said. Three masked men pulled the schoolteacher into a white Maruti van near NH-24 and drove her to a deserted sugarcane field, according to the complaint. While two of the men raped her at gunpoint, the third clicked photographs of the act and threatened to upload them on the Internet. They later dropped her off at a nearby location. The SP said, “We came to know about the incident only in the evening, when the victim and her family members arrived at the CB Ganj police station to lodge the complain”. Senior police officers, including inspector general VS Meena, deputy inspector general Ashutosh Kumar and senior superintendent of police RK Bhardwaj reached the crime scene to investigate.
