<![CDATA[The Saidapet police arrested three persons for attempting to sexually assault a schoolgirl after robbing her. The girl was returning home after visiting her classmate in Mandaveli. She was waylaid near the Tamil Nadu Open University by three men, who robbed her of a mobile phone and Rs.450, and attempted to sexually assault her. She managed to escape from them. Her father filed a complaint and the police arrested Vellai alias Govindaraj, 23, of Appavu Nagar, and Ramesh, 22, and Manoj Kumar, 20, of Thideer Nagar. They were remanded in judicial custody.]]>
