<![CDATA[An 18-year-old boy was beaten to death allegedly by four men for stealing a mobile phone at Central Delhi’s Kamla Market on Thursday night. The accused were arrested on Friday, the police told. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Anto Alphonse told that Devvrat Rana (21), Gulshan (22), Sachin (22) and Gobinder Singh (22) were arrested for allegedly kidnapping and beating Shahzeb alias Shajib to death. According to the police, Gobinder had come to Delhi from Chandigarh to meet his friends. The four of them caught Shahzeb near GB Road, now known as Swami Shradhanand Marg, and pushed him in their car. They beat him up and then dumped him in the area. During interrogation, the accused disclosed that Shahzeb had stolen a mobile phone and Rs.40,000 from them. When they caught him, they recovered the phone but the money was gone. They allegedly called the victim’s mother for the same who told them that she didn’t have any. The accused then beat him to death, the police told.]]>
