Madurai: The Madurai Traffic Police has issued a notice to the Share Auto drivers. According to the notice, the following are the rules that need to be adhered to by the share-auto drivers: Never drive fast vehicles on the road. No more persons must be loaded into the vehicle than permitted persons. Bus stops should not be parked frequently in the middle of the road. Only passengers should be unloaded at the side of the road.
When turning their vehicles to the right or to the left, they must turn the vehicle behind the indicator. The vehicle must be secured with all relevant documents accompanying the vehicle. No loudspeakers should be used. The driver must wear a uniform and then operate the vehicle on the road. The vehicle should never be operated in such a way as to cause disruption to the public. The driver should not drive the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. All share auto drivers must follow all of the above-mentioned conditions. The Madurai Municipal Police Commissioner, Mr. Davidson Devaswaram, IPS has ordered the immediate seizure of the vehicles that violate road rules.
