Thiruvananthapuram: The Chief Minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan handed the appointment orders to over 58 athletes appointed by the Kerala Police at a function in Thiruvananthapuram. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the distribution of sports kit to the athletes. The sports kit is sponsored by the Indian Oil Corporation.
The Chief Minister presented the cash awards, trophies and medals to the winning Kerala Police team at the Mallik Memorial National Football Championship. Sports troopers U Sharafali, IM Vijayan and sports team coach Sunil accepted the trophy. Chief Minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan also released the jersey of the sports team.
Mr. Keerthi K Suseelan, who won first place in the 10-meter air rifle competition at the All India Police (Sports) Shooting Competition received a cash prize from the Chief Minister. State Police Chief Mr. Loknath Behra presented the Kerala Police’s tribute to the Chief Minister.
