Uttarakhand: In Nandakesari, Chamoli, two unruly cows were trapped on the banks of the river for three days, which could not come up due to the rock facing the river. The rescue operation of both the cows was done with ropes by Tharali police station staff and the SDRF Jawans. They managed to take the cows out of the Sakushal river.
