Mizoram: On 29.2.2020 at 4:30 a.m, 39 Lakh tablets of Methamphetamine(Meth), weighing 429 Kgs. was recovered and seized from a truck, bearing Registration No.MZ 01/S 4548 (Tata Truck). The value of the seized drugs as per the international market rate is estimated to be Rs.9, 750/- lakhs (at the rate of Rs.250/- per tablet). A case was registered and Lalramnunmawia aged 30 s/o H.Vanlalhluna of Zokhawthar, Champhai District, the driver of the said vehicle was also arrested.
