Bengaluru: Two brothers who had gone for a swim drowned in Bangalore’s Abhigere Lake on July 31, Sunday. The two brothers have been identified as Sudarshan (11) and Manoj (13), residents of Rama temple near MIT College. “Manoj and Sudarshan along with three other friends had went to the lake and entered water. Due to the slush, both got stuck inside and died. Other three children who had accompanied the Sudarshan and Manoj went to their house to inform parents about the incident, but as there were no one they went back to their home, police said. On the morning of 1 August passersby saw clothes of the children on the banks. Meanwhile, Bhagya, mother of the deceased had also approached police to file a missing complaint.” Later, police alerted fire force officials who took out the bodies of the deceased.
