New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation has announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed Any Graduate for the position of Sub Inspector of Police.

A Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for the appointment of departmental candidates to the grade of Sub-Inspector of Police in CBI in accordance with the provisions of the existing Recruitment Rules is proposed to be held on 03/05/2020 which falls on Sunday at CBI Training Academy, Kamla Nehru Nagar, Hapur Road, Ghaziabad (U.P.) for filling 11 (UR-IO, SC-01, ST-00) vacancies. However, the vacancy position available at the time of preparation of the select panel will be taken into account.
Both Executive (M. T. Constable to ASI) and Ministerial Staff (LDC to CA and Steno Grade-II) of CBI below the age 40 years (45 years for SC/ST candidates) as on 01.01.2020, with three years regular service in CBI since the date of joining in the Pay Band -1 and 2 up to the grade pay of Rs.4200/- (pre-revised) and possessing the qualification of Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
The essential qualification required for both Executive and Ministerial Staff of CBI, possessing prescribed physical standard and below the age of 40 years and possessing the qualification of Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. The age of the candidate should be below 40 years.

The selection procedure is as follows. Employees of the CBI both Executive (G.D. or. M. T. Constable to ASI) and Ministerial Staff (LDC to CA and Steno Grade-II) are eligible to appear in the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for filling up 15% of vacancies through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination in the rank of Sub- Inspectors of Police, DSPE, CBI. The subjects for the written examination, the maximum marks and the time allowed for each subject will be as given below. General Knowledge, English Language, Language Comprehension, Written Ability Test. Paper-II: Law 200 Marks.
It is requested that the contents of this circular may be brought to the notice of all concerned of your branch, as well as to those who may be on leave, training, tour or on deputation to other organization, etc. and the service particulars, etc. of the candidates who are eligible and intend to appear in the examination may please be sent to CBI, HO on or before 16.04.2020 positively in the enclosed proforma. The Branch/Zones/Units may please ensure that applications of only those candidates meet the prescribed physical measurements and other qualifications and experience should be forwarded to head office for consideration. In case no employee from the Branch is eligible/ willing to appear in the examination, a NIL information note may also please be sent. No application will be entertained after 16/04/2020.
