Goa: The “Cop of the Day” is given to a police officer who has done the duty entrusted to him or her with great efficiency. The job could be anything but the manner in which it has been accomplished is recognized and if it is exceedingly good the particular officer who has performed the job in an excellent manner is recognized and appreciated.
The Goa Police has chosen “The Cop of the Day” for Mr.Sandeep Ghodge, Head Constable, for actively enforcing the Lockdown and challenging persons who are not taking precautions. His duty was in the busy Calangute tourist belt. He maintained the Lockdown efficiently during his period of duty.
