Chandigarh: In continuous efforts to help the needy people during COVID-19, Chandigarh Police, today, distributed sanitary napkins, Juice, and other items among ladies at EWS Colony, Maloya, Chandigarh. Ms. Nilambari Jagadale, IPS, SSP, UT, Chandigarh along with DSP Ms. Palak Goyal IPS who is currently working as Station House Officer(SHO) in the training module, distributed 200 sanitary napkins and 200 Real juice among the needy people of EWS Colony, Maloya, Chandigarh.
The items were distributed to boost up the morale of people especially the ladies who are compelled to remain inside their house and it is worth applauding that the common people are also playing an important role to contain the spread of Coronavirus and also assisting the front liners to combat with this deadly disease.
The sanitary napkins have been donated by Strawberry Fields Old Students Association (SFOSA) to Chandigarh Police and Real Juice packs were sponsored by the NGO, Save Humanity. Many other social organizations are also coming forward to make their presence for this noble cause. Chandigarh Police appeals to the general public to follow the directions issued by the Chandigarh Administration in order to fight COVID-19.
