Tirunelveli : The accused Arumugam aged 34 years, S/o murugaiah, Seevalaperi. concerned in Seevalaperi PS Cr.No.74/20 u/s 147,148,341,294(b),352,506(ii)IPC, Cr.no 31/20 u/s 379 IPC(Sand theft) indulged in anti-social activities very often has come to the notice of the Tirunelveli District Superintendent of Police Tr.Om Prakash Meena, IPS, who instructed the Seevalaperi Inspector of Police(Incharge) Tmt.Shoba Jency to detain him Under Sec 14 of TamilNadu Goondas Act. Accordingly, the Inspector prepared a proposal for detaining the accused arumugam under Goondas Act, which has been recommended by the District Superintendent of Police Tirunelveli. The District Collector ordered him to detain under Goondas Act. The Accused was detained on 16.05.2020 and lodged at Central prison Palayamkottai.
