Sonipat: Sonipat is a city and a Municipal Corporation in the Haryana state of India. It comes under the National Capital Region and is around 44 kilometers from Delhi. It is also around 214 km southwest of Chandigarh, the state capital. The Yamuna River runs along the eastern boundary. It is situated in an elevation of 224 m.
In an effort to prevent illegal activity the Haryana Police is always vigilant and has unearthed an illegal liquor factory engaged in the manufacturing & bottling of liquor in Sonipat district. The police on conducting the raid made a recovery of 14 boxes liquor 135 Litres spirit 3280 labels 3472 holograms 840 empty bottles 1150 bottle lid 70 water boxes and 2 machines.
