Shillong: The Shillong Police arrested two accused persons hailing from Dongkamon, Nongmynsong on 11th July 2020 in connection with a criminal case registered under relevant provisions of the POCSO Act.
Mr. G. K. Langrai MPS Assistant Inspector general of Police( A) said both the accused were arrested after a complaint was filed at Rynjah Police Station and subsequent to the arrest the accused have been forwarded to judicial custody. The investigation of the case is still in progress to ascertain the facts and circumstances of the case.
