<![CDATA[HYDERABAD: Telengana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has said that the draft notification for creation of new districts is likely to be issued soon. During a review meeting here on 9 August on the modalities for creation of new districts, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao made it clear that the new districts should come into existence from Dasara and asked officials to complete all formalties required. After releasing the draft notification, the officials should start the exercise of seeking suggestions, objections and opinion from the people and other stakeholders. The CM constituted a cabinet sub-committee which will give a final report on the constitution of the new districts after gathering opinions and suggestions from elected representatives, officials and general public. An official release said, “Officials should prepare the guidelines for creation of new districts,’’ Rao said. “The requests from general public and elected representatives and the decisions taken were reviewed in the meeting’. CM, however, asked officials not to take into consideration the demands of political parties but take a decision based on administrative convenience, geographical issues and backwardness of the areas. The cabinet subcommittee will be headed by deputy CM Mohammad Mahmood Ali and deputy CM Kadiyam Srihari, Jupally Krishna Rao, Etela Rajender and Tummala Nageswara Rao will be the members. ]]>
