Hyderabad: Sardar Vallabai Patel National Police Academy has announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed Any Graduate, Any Post Graduate for the position of Deputy Superintendent of Police/Assistant Commandant.

SVP National Police Academy, Hyderabad is inviting nominations for two posts of “Deputy Superintendent of Police Assistant Commandant”(Training/General.), General Central Service Group; ‘A’ Gazetted Non-Ministerial in level-IO on deputation basis. The qualification required for the above-mentioned post is as follows.
The Eligibility criteria from amongst officers of the Central Armed Police Forces / State Police holding analogous post (Deputy Superintendent of Police I Assistant Commandant) in the Pay Band 3. Rs. 15600- 39100/- and Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- (Pre Revised). Level-IO in the pay matrix (Revised) on a regular basis or Inspectors in level-7 in the pay matrix Rs. 44,900-142400 (Revised) or equivalent with three years regular service in that grade either from Central Armed Police Forces or State Police.
Further, the other qualification required for the above-mentioned post is as follows.
(i)Three years’ experience as Instructor/Trainer in the rank of DySP/AC/Inspector in planning, coordination, teaching, and conduct of outdoor and indoor training related to fieldcraft and tactics.
(ii) He/She should be qualified in a minimum of two certified courses conducted by the CAPF/State Police in areas like Map Reading & Tactics, Explosive weapons.
(iii) Two years’ service in the operation field area in unit/battalion in the rank of DySP/AC/Inspector.
(iv) Working knowledge of computers.
(i)Two years of experience in General Administration.
(ii)Two years of experience in the Works branch I section or possessing Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Civil / Electrical Engineering.
(iii)Having specialization in fieldcraft and tactics.
(iv)Preference will be given to officers possessing law and knowledge of police-related subjects.
(v) Officers below the age of 45 years will be a degree in Engineering.
The Nature of Duty is as follows:
(i) To act as an in-charge of the outdoor activities of “Special Tactics Wing”(STW) related works.
(ii)To coordinate and correspond with the officers in regard to the execution / implementation of the courses.
(iii)To report to AD (Tac) or any other Supervisory Officer or any other general administrative duties as and when assigned by the competent authority.
The age of the Officers should be below the age of 45 years.
The Selection Will Be Based on Deputation Basis.
The eligibility criteria which include the educational qualifications, experience, etc.are furnished in the enclosed Annexure-I. The candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently. The nominations of eligible officers along with,(a) their bio-data in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II) duly attested, (b) Attested copies of Annual Confidential Reports for the last five years (from 2014-15 to 2018-19). (c) details of major and minor penalties for the last 10 years and (d) Certificate(s) of Integrity. Vigilance and Cadre Clearance, may please be forwarded to this Academy through proper channel at the earliest and in any case not later than 60 days from the date of issue of this letter. Application received incomplete in any respect or those not accompanied by the documents/information mentioned in para 3 above will not be considered. The cadre authorities may ascertain that the particulars sent by the officers are correct as per the service records. While forwarding the nominations for the post of DySP/AC(Trg/Genl), it may kindly be ensured that the nominated officers should not be in the pay scale higher than the pay scale of the deputation post i.e. level-IO in the pay matrix.
