Chandigarh: The Senior Superintendent Police(SSP)/ Security and Traffic of Chandigarh Police Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chahal, IPS is experimenting with a new manpower management policy in which the staff will be given a fixed weekly off with fixed replacement thereby removing discretion in the hands of the deployment officer. This will bring clarity to the weekly schedule for the personnel and thereby reduce favoritism /corruption. The duty and replacement roster will be continued to be prepared by randomization through Software with zero human interference. The Results/feedback are to be evaluated at the end of November 2020.
